Write a one- or two-page description of a potential application of one of the Operations Management methods/techniques in a business setting or your own every-day life (or a combination of the two).

This should pertain to your personal experiences, and you should describe some details to clarify that. You may not simply Google the applications and write about them.

It should be different from applications/examples/problems we have discussed in class. Your application may not be about general business skills like teamwork, innovation, communication, etc. It should specifically be related to Operations Management and the topics we have or will discuss in class.

A general example:

I have worked/interned in Company/Organization X (describe the business and what you did there briefly.)

I have observed/learned that they do Y this way (describe briefly.)

I think the OM method/topic Z can be applied to manage/improve this business situation or solve this problem (describe specifically)
