I learned throughout this course that it is important for many different reasons that, while you should always get the best quality supplies that you can for your patients, the amount of waste that we see in the healthcare setting is enormous. There are ways as leaders that cost on supplies and waste can be cut which can lead to opportunities for increase in pay for staff. After researching some of the numbers on waste during this course, my current office was able to come up with different ways to start cutting back and reduce the amount we had per month.$$
