You started moonlighting after work a few nights a week as a "dancer" in a Gentleman's Club. Not only is the money good, but you really like the work! It is fun and a great workout! Before you took the job at the club, you checked the employee handbook and there is no prohibition on moonlighting. The only prohibition is you cannot work at another law firm. One night you are at the club and one of the partners at the firm came in with a group of friends. He didn't recognize you but one of the other guys did. The next day, your boss calls you in and fires you for inappropriate conduct which could tarnish the reputation of the law firm. You ask what rules you broke and when he couldn't specifically name one, he said your conduct was morally reprehensible! You also assert your right to privacy.

You tell a friend $-$ her husband is a law student and says you have a good case. What are the issues here? What are the interests of the employer? What are your interests? What is the potentially applicable law? How do you think a court would decide this case. Be specific and develop your responses thoroughly. What about at will termination. Does this play into the scenerio?
