In this case, I can see why they ultimately decided not to allow the death penalty for minors. I feel that when it comes to monitors, a lot of the issues can he helped, not all, but most. I do feel that the death penalty should be used on adults, but when it comes to kids, they have a lot of time left to grow, even if they are in prison for the rest of their lives. I can see how some people would say what's the difference between 17 and 18, but according to the law, they are still a minor. I think when it comes to murders that are planned or school shootings, those may need to be discussed because if it's planned and the kid thought about it for that long, they probably could not be helped. It is so difficult to give one direct answer for each case, but I feel that depending on their severity, they could be tried as an adult and receive the death penalty.
