Question:
Write an AIDA-format persuasive letter that requests action on a matter of interest to you. With this case, you must come up with a topic of your own. You must create the details of the case: it could be a request to an instructor for a grade change, or a request to the PCC administration for more contemporary classrooms for all classes (such as complete individual technology upgrades including desks and computers for each student), or any other area that you would like to see changed. Make the message a one-page AIDA letter to the correct recipient (not to me). Be creative and imaginative (but no science fiction!).
Form and content
Use our classroom model letter for format. The letter must be one page, no longer, and it must follow AIDA format.
- Use a 12-point serif typeface (Times New Roman preferred).
- Do not use fancy or bookish typefaces, although you may create your own heading if you wish.
- Double-space between paragraphs, but do not indent the first line of the paragraphs.
- Date the letter on the day it is due in the drop box.
- Do not use software templates.
- Use the four-part AIDA structure
- Include an audience profile sheet
