My current work team is great. Its a three man team consisting of the boss and two works(myself and a coworker). We do cemetery services(ground-maintance). The boss/owner does all of the paperwork and bidding on the jobs, also handling maintance on the machines. While myself and cowork split duties on mowing, weed eating, etc. This distrubtion of work is great because you are never doing the same thing twice on any given cemetary throughout the week. We have also developed a nice rythm when completing the maintance on the cemetaries. If you have one guy mowing and another weed eating you can get a huge section if not the whole cemetery completed in an 8 hour work day. This allows for the completion of multiple jobs a week. Freeing up time to do other facuets of the job such as fixing the road ways and filling in holes that may have developed throughtout the cemetery. For us not having to worry about the otherside of the business is great for now not having the real world experience yet that it takes to negotate/ bid on the contracts for the cemetery or what it takes to operate a buisness yet. The greatest part is the boss is willing to help me along when it comes to questions about such things, seeing as I have hopes to one day operate my own business one day.
