a negative message lacking the you-attitude. Then, revise each

sentence to improve both positive emphasis and the you-attitude.

Each sentence must belong to a different technique for

deemphasizing negative information. (Remember that you have

such techniques explained in the textbook in pages 108112). In

addition, you need to focus the approaches to achieve good youattitude in the revised sentences. Please, follow the exact format in

the following example:

Technique: Avoid negative words and words with negative

connotation.

Negative: We have failed to finish taking inventory.

Positive: We will finish taking inventory on Friday.
