1. Take a spring and measure where the bottom of the spring reaches. Record this distance.

2. Put a weight on the end of the spring.

3. Measure where the bottom of spring reaches with the first weight. Record this distance.

4. Put a second weight on the end of the spring.

5. Measure where the bottom of spring reaches with the second weight. Record this distance.
