summary:four years ago, a lot of people were upset about the election results in Georgia, and some of them, including people supporting Donald Trump, did some pretty mean stuff to the election workers there. This included making threats and trying to sue them. Because of all that, election workers in Georgia were worried that the same thing might happen this year. To help protect them, a new group called the Election Defense Fund was created to provide legal support to election officials being treated unfairly for doing their jobs.
