1. The mini case shall describe a strategic situation/problem/issue, either in the past or today, which needs resolution. The organisation can be of any type and in any geography. By the end of the case, it should be clear to the reader that a problem is faced (max. 700 words). PESTEL to be applied in this section.

2. Conduct a strategic analysis of the business using the frameworks and theories taught during the module. You are not restricted to the material in the module, but any additional frameworks used should be drawn from the strategy literature. For guidance, you should use a minimum of three frameworks/theories. Note, however that marks will be awarded for the depth of your analysis and for integration of theory and practice (i.e., not for the number of theories used in your essay). Please do not use SWOT.

3. What are the principal risks to the future competitiveness of the business? Use your strategic analysis to develop an action plan and recommendations for the business to be able to compete effectively in the future.
