Some of these cases were successfully prosecuted, some were not, others were never solved, and a small number led to wrongful conviction. For this writing assignment, research a high-profile criminal investigation of your choice and discuss a written analysis, drawing on material from throughout the textbook (Becker, R.F. & Dutelle, A.W. (2018). "Criminal Investigation," 5th Ed. Jones & Bartlett Learning, Burlington, MA) to summarize the facts, analyze the evidence, examine the strengths and weakness of the case, and recommend what (if anything) the investigators could have done differently.
