Access Control List $($ACL$)$: ACLs, or Access Control Lists, can be used to limit who has access based on certain IP addresses.

VLANs and Routing: It should also be verified that VLANs are properly configured and that inter$-$VLAN routing is enabled or blocked as appropriate.
