You are taking a friend and his mother up in your airplane for a sight-seeing's ride.  On takeoff, you get a flat tire and the airplane veers sharply to the left and runs off the runway.  It's a bit of a bumpy ride before you get the airplane stopped but everyone appears to be ok.  As you wait for the FBO to come tow the airplane, you point out various landmarks on the airport and have a very engaging conversation with your friend and his mother. You part ways in the parking lot of the FBO making tentative plans to do the flight in two weeks.  After about 10 days you get a call from your insurance company saying that your friend's mother made a claim for a neck injury due to the flat tire incident.  You let your insurance company know that the claim is utterly ridiculous and the woman was totally fine when she left that day.  Your insurance company ends up wanting to settle the claim and pay the woman $4,000 for medical expenses and pain and suffering.  Knowing she has no case, if you want your insurance company to fight it in court instead of settle the claim and raise your premiums, can you require the insurance company to fight it in court?  Explain.
