Two minutes later the front desk agent notices five more men heading down the same hallway. Soon the front desk begins receiving noise complaints about people yelling and playing loud music from Bruce’s room; it’s 1 a.m., and the hotel is sold out.
The front desk agent calls the room and says, “Excuse me, but several hotel guests on your floor are complaining about noise.”
“But it’s my birthday!” says Bruce.
“That’s nice, but we can’t have you disturbing others” the agent tells him,
Bruce agrees to quiet down, but the complaints keep coming. The front desk agent calls once again and Bruce says, “But it’s my birthday!” Bruce protests. “And it was my friends being loud, not me.”
