While people near STP are very happy with the plant and perfor mance, you're also concerned some places might not want a reactor nearby: 1. Business Design (a) Given what you've learned, what would you propose for a 10-year plan and why? (b) List out what you believe to be the key requirements (must haves) and preferences (c) How would you weight the preferences compared to the requirements and one-another? (d) List out what you believe to be the key constraints (e) How would you compare different reactor designs to your require- ments/constraints? (f) How much do you believe the cost and time estimates that you hear from these reactor design companies? (g) What type of reactor(s) would you propose to build and why? 2. Risk Analysis for the first operating reactor (a) What would you imagine the worst possible accident could be at that very first reactor you build? (b) Discuss the defense-in-depth components that are used to prevent such a catastrophic accident? (c) How would you compare the risk (consequence times probability) of choosing all renewable +gas to your strategy?
