The Business Case of the project provides a detailed description of the factors which influence the need for the specific project. Outline the core aspects of the business environment which drives the business case: Conduct an Environmental Analysis of the Organisation, Business Vision, Mission, Strategy, Objectives; SWOT analysis; PESTLE analysis. Based on the above, identify the nature of the problem / opportunity that necessitates the project. Explain the impact that the problem / opportunity has or will have on the organisation.

7.5. PROJECT SCOPE In business, the project scope is a document that forms a part of the project planning and lists the project objectives, tasks, costs, deliverables and deadlines.
