Project Functional Requirements:
User Accounts
Users will be able to sign up for a free account. They must have confirmed email addresses, valid passwords, and a name. For security purposes, it is good to store when the profile is created, the IP address of the computer with which they created the account with, and the last time the user logged in.
Optional information that users might want to enter would include a description of themselves, a date of birth, interests, and gender.
Articles
Each user will have the ability to write articles. Articles will need to store a title, content (the article), a date created and edited, the id of the user that created the article, and whether the article is ready for publishing.
Groups
Users will have the ability to “follow” a blog. When they login, they will see the latest articles posted by those blogs that they follow.
Additionally, a user will be able to allow other account holders to leave comments if given the permission to.
