You should undertake some research before commencing this assignment to understand how such small microcontrollers work and operate. You are free to use any micro controller for example Arduino, Atmega328, PIC16F877A, TI MSP432 etc. should you wish to vary from the clients choice. Your complete design (hardware selection, interfacing and software development) will provide all of the evidence against the units assessment criteria. As you have experienced in developing a wall and a line following robot and smart gardening IoT device through the course, you may extend that basic idea to develop a complete solution for the industry or home-based application of mobile robot. You are asked to select from the list of applications/ categories assigned by your instructor.

You should present

(a). a formal descriptive report in MS docx format or similar and

(b). a slide Presentation in MS PowerPoint format or similar.

Your report and presentation should contain images, illustrations, descriptive text, and a bibliography of sources used.

Citations should be included within the body of your main text.

You have been asked to specify and select a microcontroller from current available devices and include the following within the report and the presentation.

an explanation of the hardware interfaces of a selected microcontroller of the topic/ application that was assigned/selected and

a critical evaluation of the software architecture that operates within your selected micro controller in terms of its subsystems and characteristics that required to perform the application functions.
