This report has been published by Bluth Company as a yearly update on their 2050 Sustainability Plan. They are a property development company.

Progress for the 2050 Sustainability Plan is currently on track for most elements.

The following sustainability goals were achieved: Establish a sustainability working group (2011), Launch a sustainability literacy initiative (2015), Sustainable stormwater and water management on all new builds (2022), Telework (2020), Create an action plan to reach sustainability milestones for each decade of the plan (2010).

The 2050 Sustainability Plan began in 2010 with a final goal date 2050.

The following goals are behind schedule: Establish company-wide sustainable procurement standards, develop and implement policies for outside vendors, and identify, fund, and implement energy conservation and generation projects.

Bluth Companys sustainability plan contains 20 goals. Five goals have already been achieved, nine goals are on track, two goals are ahead of schedule, one goal has no progress and three are behind schedule.

The only goal that has had no progress over the past year is Green Cleaning. This goal has stalled at the following step for the past five years: 15% out of a goal of 60% of all cleaning products used are green-certified. There has been difficultly sourcing green-certified cleaners that meet industry standards at a reasonable price.

Biodiversity Plan Determined best practices for enhanced biodiversity in all new developments.

Enhanced Space Use Policy Completed space use assessment and developed new policy to improve space utilization and reduce redundancies.

Sustainable Commuting Increased space allotted to bike and walk paths by 15% in all new developments.

Material Reuse Identified commodities for reuse and drafted processes for reuse within developments.

Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Added five dual-hose charging stations to Head Office campus, for a total of 27 charging options.
