You will be identifying optimal ways to communicate in your workplace, as well as learning to be open to new perspectives and perceptions. Also, you will explore the notion of seeking diversity. (This report will include the following three parts:) . . Approach two people in your organization who are likely to have different perspectives of the organization than you do. This can be for a range of reasons-such as age, sex, length of service, nationality, etcetera. Ask these two people to read your paper and tell you which ideas they agree with and which ideas they disagree with in your assessment of the organization's culture. Your report should include a brief description of the two individuals and how their perspectives might differ from yours, as well as their responses to your paper. If you find they say they agree with everything you say, probe more deeply. It is unlikely they will agree with you on everything. Facilitate a discussion with the two about their different opinions and discuss the highlights of the conversations, including the use of direct quotes from the conversation. Or, if this is not possible, discuss their opinions with them individually and then discuss this discussion, including direct quotes from the conversation. Having received from these conversations additional information that came from different perspectives, further define and expand on your understanding of the organizational culture in which you work.
