You will develop a professional intervention plan for the pharmacy team at Poplar Drug Store located in Chelsea. Your task is threefold; to assess the current situation and to identify the problems affecting the team. Second, to analyze the current situation using appropriate theory, literature, and content from our course to support your findings. In other words, what does the literature say about these issues $($citations required$).$ Finally, you will create a detailed intervention plan that the senior technician $($Kim$)$ can use to help improve her team$$s performance. Your intervention plan can focus on a number of topics including, team building, team development, team training, team conflict, team diversity, team communication, team problem solving, etc$).$ As you develop your plan, think of this intervention unfolding over time and not just a one$-$session occurrence. For example, if you provided Kim a multi$-$year plan or a multi$-$phase plan, what could this look like? Maybe your plan could initially focus on team development, then progress to training and team building interventions as the team becomes more cohesive. Or maybe, you develop an eighteen$-$month plan. What should Kim focus on during the first six months, the second, and the final six$-$month period? Be creative, these are just some ideas, but your plan should be something Kim can use to focus her efforts.

Intervention plan. The Intervention plan should be five $(5)$ to eight $(8)$ pages long $($double spaced, $12$ point Times New Roman font, excluding supplementary materials and$/$or appendices$).$ Students are expected to include a minimum of $5$ references including peer$-$reviewed journals, the textbook, and other sources as appropriate. Per APA standards, references will be listed on a separate page; therefore the reference page is not included in the five to eight page count. Students are expected to follow APA formatting standards for in text citations and the reference paper.

Read the case study and then provide me a brief description of your initial thoughts about the case and what you would like to focus on$.$ What kind of intervention plan do you want to start thinking about. Perhaps you may want to focus on leadership training for the senior technician. Or you could focus on the team and building team cohesion. You may want to focus on team processes as a a way to address the issues in the Pharmacy. There are many areas you could focus on$,$ but I want you to start thinking about how you might want to proceed. You will need this detail and more for the outline that is due at the end of the month.
