You will first audit two companies in the same industry (food, hospitality, tourism, sports retail, fashion retail - it's up to you!). Scanning the companies' websites and ESG, CSR, or Sustainability reports, you will compare their sustainability goals and objectives. For each company, you will write an overview of the company and their mission. For each pillar of sustainability (social, economic, and environmental), you will identify which UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the company is working towards and how they plan to achieve them. You will then choose the best corporate citizen based on the companies' performance in all three areas of responsibility - economic, social, and environmental.

Finally, you will describe what sustainability means to you and how you contribute to the overall UB Sustainable Development Goals as an individual.

This assessment should take you approximately 5 hours to complete.

How to Complete this Assessment:

1. First, select two companies in the same industry.
2. Research the companies by scanning their websites, social platforms, ESG, CS, Sustainability reports, and news sites that report on their sustainability initiatives.

Write and format your Sustainability Audit using the sub-heading and content-related instructions below. Your report should be between 4 to 6 pages, single-spaced, using TR, 12-point font. Your report should include a title page with your name, ID, my name, course code, and date and a reference page at the end.

Section 1: Company Profiles

Describe these companies based on their size or scale (are they large, multinationals or small, independent retailers, for example), mission statements, key stakeholders, and anything else you think is relevant.

If you draw from sources, please quote or paraphrase and then acknowledge your reference both in-text and within your Reference page at the end of your document.
