You will need to present your solution on multiple sheets, each sheet will have to be renamed to label the question/item you are addressing.
The attached screen shot shows the suggested PivotTable Field list and report with summary of Total Gross Sales (without the column chart)- this is just to get you started! Remember to use the Group by option to create the tabular summaries for Item #1.
Tabular summary for Total Gross Sales. Total Gross Sales in Rows, Movie Titles in Values (setting set to COUNT). Right Click on any value within column A to select the Group by option.
You will need to create 4 Pivot Table reports and 4 column charts of the Pivot Table outputs for item #1 on separate Excel sheets (tabular and graphical summaries for each of the 4 quantitative variables). The Group By option (with an appropriate increment) will have to be used for each of the 4 Pivot Table reports. Consider showing the count values as % of column total. Discussion/interpretation should then be typed on each of the 4 sheets. Name the sheets Item1P1, Item1P2, Item1P3, Item1P4. This part of the case is worth 12 points.
Item #2-4(scatter diagrams and discussion of results) should be provided on 3 separate sheets (name the sheets e.g. Item2, Item3, Item4). Items #2-4 will be worth 18 points (6 points each).
For #2-4 you are creating XY scatter charts with trendlines, equations, R square. If the relationship between the quantitative variables is not linear, try to find a non-linear equation with a better fit.
Provide explanations, interpretation of results for #1-4. Be thorough!
