Your first analytical paper will have you research a U.S. Supreme Court case pertaining to the 4th, 5th, or 6th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Your assignment is to find a case and address the following points:

• In a brief synopsis, explain the details of the case. Explain the important facts, who/what organization is involved, how did the lower court rule before it came before the Supreme Court?
• What are the Constitutional issues at stake in this case. Do not just simply state that "this is a violation of the 6th Amendment". I want explanation here as to why.
• What was the finding of the Supreme Court: Make sure to include who wrote the decision (which Justice) and explain how and why they ruled this way.
• Explain any dissenting opinion by the Justices. Example: Those that ruled against the majority, what argument did they make?
• What is the significance of this case? What impact does it have on our society?
• Do you think that this case remains relevant today? Explain how.
• Analytical: Upon reviewing this case, make an original argument against the majority findings. Whether you agree or not, play "devils advocate" and explain why society would be better if the Court ruled "the other way"
