The computer booted up and ran for few minutes . Then it shut down and wouldn't reboot . After about 30 minutes , George was again able to boot the system , but again it shut down a few minutes later . That's when he called you . When you examine his system you immediately notice that whille everything else appears to be connected properly , the CPU fan on top of the heat sink not plugged in . George tells you that he didn't plug the in the CPU fan because the header on the motherboard where the fan shouldconnect has 4 pins, but the connector on his fan only has 3 holes and he can't afford to buy a different fan a) Why George's new system consistently shutting down after running only a few minutes b) Why George able to reboot the computer after leaving tumed off for a while ? c) What can George do to correct the problem without spending any more money ?
