Your group assignment is the Corporate Group. Your first assignment is to draft the organizing document to form a corporation. However, before beginning your group work, each individual member should identify which type of corporation you will need to form to accomplish the following objectives:

Secure a degree of operational flexibility.

Obtain favorable tax treatment.

Allow for growth through investment, but limit ownership.

Please submit your individual answers online in the assignments section.

Use the principles you learned in the Business Organizations and Structure lectures to decide the type of business structure that you will develop. You are encouraged and expected to work collaboratively to determine the appropriate answer. However, you are being graded individually for your responses. Once your group has settled on the type of structure, I will provide you with further instructions and parameters you will use to then draft the organizing document that corresponds to your selection.
