What is the presentation about?

You may choose one of the following topics. Note that each one of these topics will involve a significant amount of research to be completed.

Topic A: New Business Idea

Your manager wants a new business idea from you. They will then present it to potential investors in South Korea. You need to come up with a business idea -- the product or service should involve South Korea or Canada and would need investment. Assume there are no international barriers or restrictions on investment. You will need to show how the invested money would be used, the potential ROI, market analysis and plan, and a three-year plan for growth.

Topic B: New Business Impact

Choose a Canadian company. Describe why this business should better support employees of colour during the pandemic. What could they do differently?

Topic C: New Industry Impact

Choose an industry. Describe why companies in this industry should better support female employees. What could they do differently?

  • A reference page in APA style
  • A PowerPoint presentation with APA style in-text citations - on the slides and in the notes. See the sample template.

Your slides should include:

  • A cover slide - with notes
    • Notes section should include suitable introductory remarks for your manager
  • An agenda slide - with notes
    • Notes section should include short notes on each agenda point
  • A minimum of six slides a maximum of nine slides representing the content of the presentation, including APA in-text citations
  • On EACH slide
    • Include complete information for the presenter in the notes section for each slide
    • Include least one data chart with quantifiable data and a detailed explanation in the notes section
    • Include approximately 100-200 words in the notes section PER SLIDE
  • Include one or more slides with a reference page containing your source information (APA format)

You are not presenting - your manager will presenter. Your job is to create the slides and the script for your manager.
