Define your overall purpose. Think of the Vision Statement as a brief summary of your future aspirations, both personally and professionally. Define what you hope to achieve in the future. Regarding your values, discuss the core attributes and behaviors that you value which most closely reflect you, personally and professionally. PART III. YOUR Situation Analysis (Internal and External) Assess and describe your internal and external environments for yourself as an individual and for the business environment in which you desire to establish a career. o Describe your skills and talents, what do you like and love to do, and what you want to avoid in work and life. Describe potential changes in the external environment that may have an impact on your goals and aspirations. PART IV. YOUR SWOT Analysis As you know, a SWOT Analysis consist of four factors: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Remember, strengths and weaknesses are internal factors. In other words, these are YOUR strengths and weaknesses we all have more than one of each. Opportunities and threats are external factors.
