Your PART-Ais a group work. In PART-1, you will select 5 new leaders and leaders should create new team (not the same members as Assignment -1). Each group will take one or more major Deliverable(s). Yes, you will again make the Scope, WBS etc. fully defined. Here, in PART-A, you will create anMPP file for each group mapping the WBS. You will also create resource sheet for each sub-project. However, DON'T assign resources to Tasks. Finally, in PART-A, all 5 groups should work together to integrate 5MPP files into a Single MPP file that contains the full project schedule. This is the Master Schedule MPP.
You will also create a Master Resource Sheet which will have all resources from all sub-projects listed with their rates, etc.
The Master Schedule MPP file needs to have to thigs clearly set:
Inset a Colum for work TYPE and set all the work to "WORK TYPE".
Inset a Column for WORK and put estimated Hours for each of the Tasks
Finally, in Part-A, you have to make a Master Resource Sheet (Excel File) with all the resources listed along with their rates.
This ends you PART-Aof Assignment-2. You need to upload 6MPP files and 1 Word Document. Word document will be combined from all 5 groups describing full scope, WBS etc.
PART-B: Individual
Each student will take the Master Schedule MPP and will now create resources and assign them. You must use all types of resources and solve any resource over-allocation. In addition to updating the MPP file with your resource assignments, you will create an individual Word Document where you will describe what you have done e.g. what resource you assigned, what utilization rate, what over allocation solution, etc.
In Individual Part, you will have situation where Design Group is already late in their schedule. On the other hand, the Body Group is not late, but have spent more than their allocated budget. GIVE AN EXAMPLE
