How does sustainability relate to performance? Should managers only engage with sustainable practice if there's a clear connection to financial performance? Or, is there more that they should pay attention to? Select one aspect of sustainability and construct the case study around this. Perhaps you'll want to discuss the role of managers in broad terms, and then focus specifically on the application of the role of managers to the selected aspect of sustainability. For example, sustainable employment; or so-called, decent work; or environmental sustainability in the workplace, or business sustainability. The case study must blend description with critical thought and analysis regarding the challenges that managers face in addressing sustainability. It is important to define the scope and meaning of this construct early in the presentation and ensure that your content is consistent with this definition. You may choose to use a specific organisation as an example.
