Your task will be to create a PowerPoint presentation that explains the departmental problem you chose and the solution you have proposed to better the organizational situation. Use the following guidelines for your presentation.

1. The presentation should begin by briefly explaining the current situation (i.e. the problems and bottlenecks with their current way of doing business) and then continues by incorporating the various parts of the project you have completed.
2. For example, the presentation would include a slide or two on the current situation, major issues the organization is experiencing and constraints they have provided.
3. You would then want to present the approach you decided to take based on your IT Opportunity Discussion Forum posting. In other words, explain to the reader how you have approached solving the organizational problem.
4. Next you would want to present your Gantt chart so the reader would see the major tasks that need to be addressed, estimates of how long these will take and which task are dependent on others.
5. You could then move into the user requirements phase explaining the major requirements/functions the users want to see in their new system.
6. Next, you need to explain the new software system that you are recommending and how this new software application will satisfy the needs of the users and provide them a quality solution to their problems.
7. Related to the new system, you want to present the block diagram which shows the major entities, relationships, data, and processes associated with the various entities that are associated with the new system.
8. Finally, you will want to provide a slide or two relative to the return on investment/cost benefit analysis. This will help the reader better understand the cost associated with implementing a new electronic system.
9. Perhaps you may wish to add a slide with any concluding or summary comments.
10. You may want to add some graphics, audio, video, or picture files to help tell the story of improving the new system. Feel free to use the notes pages of PowerPoint if you wish to add text that better explains the slides.
11. Make the presentation as professional as possible - as though this was being presented to upper management!
