Your task and instruction
- Compose an argument that identifies a single issue or problem concerning health or wellness within your local community.
- Identify a specific target audience that may oppose your issue.
- Consider what this audience knows, and needs to know, the types of evidence they value, and how they could be best convinced.
- Compose the strongest and most reasonable textual argument (logos) you can as the writer (by also establishing your ethos) to reach and persuade your audience (pathos).
- Support your position through the use personal experience and evidence and include strong description, real or likely examples, clear establishment of terms, acknowledgment and analysis of counterarguments, and careful reasoning.
- Propose one solution (only one) to the issue and how the audience may act to help solve the issue.

- References at least 6 sources with a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed sources
- APA (7th edition) in-text citations and reference entries list required
- One quote per page; use paraphrasing instead of direct quotes
- Only one long quotation in the essay permitted
- APA (7th edition) title page and formatting
