Mark stressed that overweight people are considered lazy, sloppy, and lacking in self-esteem. He insisted that no sales manager would overlook these features and hire such a person. “What a waste of money, since customers don’t want to do business with a tubbo,” argued Mark. Cynthia countered with equal conviction, accusing Mark of stereotyping all people who are overweight.
