Recently in answer to a question that was sent to me I had to create a set of 16 scores that were more-or-less normally distributed with a mean of 16.3 and a standard deviation of 4.25. The approach taken in Exercise 3.20 could be used to produce data with a mean and standard deviation close to this, but I want them to be exactly right. How could I go about generating the data?
