Immigration has become an important topic in American politics. Some immigrants came  o the United States to do jobs that Americans do not want to do. Many of these immigrants have little formal education. Other immigrants came to the United States with work permits. Many of these are highly educated.

a. Conduct a test to determine if American-born residents (BORN: 1 = In the United States, 2 = Elsewhere) are more educated than those born outside the United States (EDUC).

b. Are the required conditions satisfied? Explain.

c. If the required conditions are not satisfied what other technique can be used to answer the question?
