Consider a modified case in which the plastics production process produces 1.5 kg of expanded (exp.) plastic and 0.85 kg of thermoformed plastic. All the other flows remain unchanged.

1. Write down the technology and intervention matrices for this network. 

2. Using mass allocation, determine the life cycle flows for manufacturing 100 widgets along with 1000 kWh of electricity. 

3. A process for making thermoformed (thm.) plastic is shown in Figure 10.13.
