It has been estimated that a 400 MW expansion of the existing SEGS solar plant in California would cost \(\$ 2.4\) billion. Estimate the expected capital costs of the generation facility in dollars/ \(\mathrm{kW}\) capacity and the minimum cost of electricity per \(\mathrm{kWh}\) generated by the addition, if they are operated at full capacity for \(6 \mathrm{~h} /\) day and have a lifetime of 30 years.
