a. Write a set of procedures or instructions for your organization to use regarding submitting system enhancement change requests. The procedures should include criteria for determining whether a simple, or "quick fix," program change is appropriate, and the guidelines and processes to be followed when the enhancement doesn't fall under the "quick fix" category Note: The procedures should be written for the nontechnical business user and should include a sample change request form.

b. "Pilot" the instructions and form with your fellow students and/or co-workers. Have them evaluate and critique the instructions and form.

c. Use their feedback to refine your instructions and form. Report the process until there are no further suggestions for improvement.
