There is a simple test which you can try, to check whether you mouth the words.

Place your index finger vertically over your lips while you are reading. If your lips are moving, you will feel them moving with your finger. This test is also a cure because if you do find your lips are moving, all you have to do is to press your finger harder against your lips and they won’t be able to move!
