I worked as a Writing Tutor at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) from September of 2015 to June of 2018. In this position, I proofread students’ written materials and assisted eight to ten students per week with developing compelling arguments for essays and personal statements. Additionally, I maintained records of student progress to track opportunities for future improvement. I also created grammar worksheets on adjectives and adverbs for ESL students and led grammar and citation workshops.
