My Accounting book showed up way faster than I expected for my California University class, which was cool since I didn’t even pay for it! The pages look clean, the binding feels decent, and it’s not some low-quality copy which I was worried about because it was free. Haven’t really dug into most of it yet but flipping around quickly it seems pretty straightforward and easy to read. I just wish there were a few more example problems sprinkled throughout but that’s probably stuff I’ll see more of later. For what I paid (zero), this is a nice help overall and totally fine for homework, so that’s good enough for me right now.

I stumbled on this accounting book when trying to find a free option for my Intro to Financial course and thought, why not? It actually came quicker than I expected and was a nice surprise that it didn’t look like some scribbled photocopy thing. At first, I was kinda lost tackling basic finance concepts, especially when we got to revenue recognition. Chapter 6 was where it clicked for me—the way it broke down when and how you can actually count revenues was a game changer. Made me rethink some homework problems where I got stuck dividing up income from my part-time job projects. Those real-life style illustrations helped a lot because most textbooks kind dangled stuff then hid the part I needed. The graphs were a bit plain, could use some sprucing up or color but hey, I get why it’s lowkey. Plus it does a good job at explaining the chaos behind why revenue isn’t just counting cash in hand—finally made me realize applying this stuff to my work salary schedule isn’t that weird. Maybe throw in more practice problems there since that’s the chunk holding me back though. I'd give it to classmates who want something that won’t bomb you with extra confusing words and still helps pass tests. Also, this came free which feels amazing since textbooks are insane these days. So yeah, pretty happy with this overall and I’m keeping it nearby for reference when those accounting dates confuse me.

Was hunting for a free accounting textbook last week and stumbled on this one. It was a lucky find since I'm tackling ACC 201 this semester and honestly, I wasn’t sure if a free book could keep up with the class. I ran into trouble understanding stuff like the matching principle, which was causing me to mix up expenses when doing homework. Then I jumped into Chapter 5 about adjusting entries and—whoa—it just clicked. The examples in that chapter, especially the deferred revenue stuff, were presented in kinda simple terms that made me actually get what I’d been fumbling with before. At one point, the way they explained prepaid expenses made measuring my small work expenses at my part-time job make a lot more sense. I started seeing how the timing affects my calculations, which honestly was a lightbulb moment for me. The chapter could be beefed up a bit with more practice questions since the ones in there were kinda sparse, but the content is solid and the layout really helps break everything into digestible chunks. I’d say it’s a cool find if you want detailed lessons without those awkward complicated jargon bombs. Getting this book for free was huge ‘cause the rest of my materials already put a strain on my wallet, so that alone made me psyched. Definitely going to keep this handy, especially for revising those chapters that usually confuse me the most. For people lazy like me who don’t wanna dive into monster thick books, this is a good pick and absolutely okay as a starter guide or refresher.

I’ve only glanced at some chapters but the examples seem to break down things in a way that’s easier to get when you’re kinda scrambling before homework. Okay so I got this textbook free for my Bachelor of Science in Accounting classes and it’s actually decent. Haven’t gone through a ton yet but what I read helped clear up some confusing topics in homework which is a win. The pages and print quality aren’t fancy but definitely readable and not distracting. Got this for my Bronx State University class and honestly didn’t expect it to get here so quick, within like 2 days or something? The book itself looks good and clean, no messed up pages or weird printing, which is nice cuz I wasn’t really paying for it so didn’t know what’d show up. Didn’t have time to read everything but started skimming a bit and it doesn’t seem confusing or too dense. Honestly happy it came in good shape and on time. So this Accounting, 28th Edition showed up way faster than I thought and all for free—nice surprise honestly. Using it for a Huntington University of Technology class and just started looking at the sections on basic principles and pretty much it’s not confusing at all like some other books I’ve seen. The pages feel good quality, no weird smells or marks, and the way they lay out stuff makes me think homework won’t be such a pain now. Haven’t hit every chapter yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, this is one of the better free accounting texts I’ve grabbed. Happy with how straightforward it is, probably gonna keep it handy.

I wasn’t expecting much and kind of hoped the textbook might even complicate stuff I already found tricky in class. Luckily this free Accounting book turned out way easier to understand than I thought it would. I had a real headache about learning how inventory works — counting outexact costs and stuff felt like a total jigsaw puzzle before. But then when I got to Chapter 9, which dives into inventory costing methods, it felt like a light switched on. The chapter went over things like FIFO and LIFO super clearly, using some simple examples that actually made sense instead of just dry theory. One part about how different methods affect profit was an eye-opener because I never realized those choices could change how I’d report financials in real life. I tried to use some of that insight helping out at my part-time job where they wanted me to pitch in on stock checks, and honestly understood how those numbers mattered instead of just shrugging. The book looks pretty neat since it’s free— paper feels solid and isn’t one of those shaky prints you worry about. Though, I did wish this chapter had a few more quick review questions to test if you really got it down, would make it even better to lock info in. I’d tell anyone new to accounting or feeling lost with inventory to check this book out; it won’t cost you a dime and it’ll seriously save a few headaches. It’s better than going in blind, and honestly, the clear-cut chapter sections help keep the focus without overwhelming. Definitely gonna hold on to this as a study buddy cause now inventory feels way less weird. So props for creating something that actually helps in a fun way, not just more stuff to read over and over without getting it.

The Accounting, 28th Edition showed up way quicker than I thought and the condition was actually pretty decent - no bent pages or anything which is cool since it was free. The textbook arrived pretty quickly and it was awesome that I didn’t have to pay since it’s totally free. I got it for my course ACCT 201: Principles of Financial Accounting and so far the print feels good and it’s not super heavy which is a nice surprise. Haven’t managed to get past the first few chapters, but the layout looks neat so I guess it won’t be too cluttered while studying. The pages aren’t fancy but the print looks good enough, no nasty smudges or anything. So this accounting text came through way quicker than I expected and it showed up looking pretty crisp no pages bent or anything weird. This accounting book turned out pretty solid for my Bachelor of Science in Accounting studies. Got it for free which was awesome and it’s easier to follow than some other books I've messed with. Haven’t finished it but it helps a ton with the stuff I’m actually struggling with so far.
