Honestly, the book felt like a slog. While it's detailed, some of the information could have been condensed. There are numerous concepts with jargon-heavy explanations. On the plus side, the book arrived on time and in good condition with all membership extras.

This book has been a rewarding journey. The content is robust, albeit a tad overwhelming if you're entirely new to the field. However, the practical tests are excellent for hands-on learners. My book arrived well-packaged, and my subscription saved me a bit of cash.

Needed it for my course CIS 210: Database Management Systems and got it totally free which was sweet. The book showed up pretty quick and looks solid quality. Haven't had time to really dig in but first look suggests it’ll help break stuff down in a way that’s not super tough to follow.

Picked up the Database Fundamentals Study Guide, 1st Edition for free since it was needed in CS 201: Database Systems Fundamentals and it’s actually pretty helpful so far. The explanations aren’t super dense, which is nice, and the charts do a good job making things easier to grasp. Haven't finished it yet but what I’ve read so far is clear enough to keep me going without feeling lost. The book came nice and neat — no damage or anything — and it’s nice that it didn't cost me a dime. Perfect for anyone who’s landing in databases for the first time. Hoping it’ll help a lot with the next few assignments too!

Picked up the free Database Fundamentals Study Guide for my Bachelor of Science in Information Technology classes and it’s been pretty decent so far. Not super flashy but the info is explained in a way that doesn’t make me want to quit lol. I’m around halfway through it and it’s good enough to keep up with my homework. Plus, it came without any damage which is always a win. Reading it between classes and it’s surprisingly clear in the tricky parts. For something free, it really helps with getting a grip on database basics without overloading me.
