I really enjoyed Erikson’s blend of complex characters and clear narratives in Deadhouse Gates. It’s a book that demands attention but rewards generously. Sometimes the pace lags, and some details are too dense, which might turn some readers off. Nonetheless, I found it thrilling and thought-provoking.

This is a solid follow-up to Gardens of the Moon. The battle scenes are intense and vividly described, adding depth to an already intriguing plot. Some parts are a bit heavy and required re-reading, but I think it's all part of the charm. Book came not only on time but was also well-packaged. Fantastic read overall!
