The book is a decent intro, but it's not comprehensive enough for advanced accounting courses IMO.

This book is an absolute gem for anyone diving into financial accounting. The authors have a knack for making complex concepts understandable. Particularly useful are the international examples, which provide a broader context that's often missing in other texts. The book was delivered on time and in pristine condition. I even got a 10% discount thanks to my subscription, which was a nice bonus!

This edition provides excellent examples and the chapters are well-organized. It covers a lot of ground, but I felt some areas could use more depth. Particularly, the sections on new accounting technologies could be expanded to reflect current trends more adequately. Overall, it's very informative and a solid choice for learning accounting. Plus, the delivery was swift and without any issues.

Grabbed this free for my course ACC 201: Global Financial Accounting and Reporting and I’m quite pleased so far. The book arrived in mint condition, pages crisp and cover sturdy which is nice. Haven’t gotten past the first few chapters but it seems like it’s going to be pretty straightforward and not too heavy going, which I need right now. Also liked how it’s geared to international standards since that’s what the course focuses on. Quick dispatch too—took maybe 2 days so that’s made life easier. More curious to get deep into it once lectures pick up!

I found this textbook particularly useful due to its combination of theoretical content and practical examples. It's updated and relevant for today's global market. The focus on global standards is especially beneficial for those looking to work internationally. I wish there were a few more practice problems at the end of each chapter, though. Delivery was quick, and I used my member discount for a better deal.
