Grabbed this free book for my course CIS 435: IT Auditing and Information Assurance and it’s been actually really helpful so far even though I haven’t finished it yet. The chapters I read are pretty straightforward and it’s not too hard to follow, which works since class is busy. Worth getting!

Kind of happy I got this free book for my Cairo International University IT class because some of the chapters actually make sense and don’t mess around with confusing jargon. I’m halfway through it and it’s decent for understanding basic controls stuff but not sure yet if I’ll keep using it after the course. The printing is fine and everything came quick, which is nice since I rarely get books this fast. It’s not the most exciting read but it’s alright when you just want the info without too much extra. Wish it had more examples though, that would help me a lot.

In terms of content, it brilliantly balances theory and real-world applications. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
