This book provides a decent introduction to mixed Poisson processes but at times felt dense and hard to follow. Some chapters were overly technical for my taste, lacking the simpler explanations that I hoped for. It did arrive quickly, which was a plus. Maybe it's just me, but having a subscription didn't make the material any easier to understand.

I found this book to be quite informative and well-structured. It strikes a good balance between theoretical concepts and practical applications. The complexity of mixed Poisson processes is made manageable through its lucid explanation. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that a few sections could have benefited from additional examples. Arrived right on time and well-packaged - better than expected!
