Book Price $0 : Meet Oswald Hendryks Cornelius, Roald Dahl's most disgraceful and extraordinary character . . . Aside from being thoroughly debauched, strikingly attractive and astonishingly wealthy, Uncle Oswald was the greatest bounder, bon vivant and fornicator of all time. In this instalment of his scorchingly frank memoirs he tells of his early career and erotic education at the hands of a number of enthusiastic teachers, of discovering the invigorating properties of the Sudanese Blister Beetle, and of the gorgeous Yasmin Howcomely, his electrifying partner in a most unusual series of thefts . . . 'Raunchy and cheeky entertainment' Sunday Express 'Immense fun' Daily Telegraph Roald Dahl, the brilliant and worldwide acclaimed author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, and many more classics for children, also wrote scores of short stories for adults. These delightfully disturbing tales have often been filmed and were most recently the inspiration for the West End play, Roald Dahl's Twisted Tales by Jeremy Dyson. Roald Dahl's stories continue to make readers shiver today.

Roald Dahl's 'My Uncle Oswald' is a witty, irreverent romp through the decadent world of early 20th-century Europe. It's Dahl at his most wickedly cheerful. The delivery was timely, and the packaging kept the book safe from any harm. A bit of a rare find nowadays, but if you enjoy a mix of humor and cheekiness, this is a must-have on your shelf. Absolutely delightful!

I was pleasantly surprised to find 'My Uncle Oswald' on sale! As a big fan of Roald Dahl's children's books, I was curious about his work for adults. It certainly did not disappoint. Oswald is a charming rogue, and his adventures are scandalous yet entertaining. The book arrived quickly, and I appreciated the discount I got with my book club subscription. However, it's definitely more adult-themed than some might expect.

My Uncle Oswald is definitely a fun read. The character antics are absolutely preposterous in the most enjoyable way. While the storyline is quite unique, I felt it lacked a certain depth that could've made it truly stand out. Still, it provides a lot of laughs and is perfect for a light hearted read. Shipment was fast and reliable. Would recommend to those familiar with Dahl's work.
