Book Price $72.8 : 'Physics' by John D. Cutnell and Kenneth W. Johnson, now in its 12th edition, is a comprehensive textbook that serves as an invaluable resource for students and educators delving into the foundational and advanced concepts of physics. The book meticulously covers a wide array of topics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and modern physics, making it an essential tool for understanding the physical principles that underpin the natural universe. Key figures such as Galileo, Newton, and Einstein, although not 'characters' in a narrative sense, are frequently referenced as the scientific titans whose work forms the basis of many chapters. Each section is designed to build on prior knowledge, carefully guiding learners through complex theories and applications. The inclusion of detailed problem-solving strategies, along with an accompanying solution manual, enhances comprehension by providing step-by-step solutions and an answer key for practice problems. Okay so I grabbed this physics book at a discounted price for my course PHYS 201: Mechanics and Waves and it’s been alright so far. The pages feel solid and the explanations aren’t too complicated which helps when I don’t have time to stress too much. However, kinda wish some sections were a bit easier to follow cuz I’ve had to reread parts more than once. The whole buying part went smooth and fast so that was a relief. Not bad at all just might need extra resources alongside it to get everything down.
