This book serves as a decent introduction to the subject but leaves room for improvement in its explanation depth. Some concepts aren't as straightforward as I'd hoped, even with my membership discount the price felt a bit steep.

As an engineer, I found the way this book marries theory with practical examples very appealing. The use of R for statistical modeling is both pragmatic and modern. The only downside was the slightly dry sections, which took away from the overall experience. Nevertheless, it was delivered on time and well-packaged!

The book has been a very helpful guide in my studies. It provides clear, detailed explanations and the examples are extremely relevant. However, I found some sections a bit too dense, which can be overwhelming. Still, it's a solid resource for anyone learning probability and statistics.
