It's a decent introduction but a bit too advanced for beginners in some parts. Could use more examples to illustrate some of the tougher concepts.
EW
This book struck a great balance between the theoretical and practical aspects of statistical computing. The author's explanations are clear but sometimes a bit dense. However, if you're willing to put in the effort, you'll benefit a lot from this book. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

This book has become an essential part of my coding reference library. 'Statistical Computing With R, 2nd Edition' provides a fantastic blend of theory and practical applications. The examples are very clear, making complex concepts much easier to grasp. Delivery was fast and it came well-packaged. If you work with R or plan to, this is a must-have!

Love how detailed this book is when it comes to explaining statistical methods using R. As someone who's been working with R for years, I found new insights that I hadn't come across before! The exercises at the end of each chapter are really helpful to reinforce learning. Plus, with my subscription, I got an extra discount on this wonderful resource!

As an intermediate R user, I found this book very helpful. It covers a lot of ground while staying relatively accessible. However, I did feel that some sections could've provided a bit more depth. Overall, a solid guide that has definitely enhanced my understanding of statistical computing.
